A list of potential risks that could arise from mixing
their own equipment with that of uncertain quality
from alternative, unapproved supply sources has
been identified by OSEM members. The organisation
believes that a number of key points should be
checked to ensure that equipment supply meets
the same minimum standard to which all OSEM
members’ own equipment complies. These focus on
the design process, quality of manufacture, safe use,
training, technical support and product liability.
